We recommend to completely avoid using the Liquid Wax on plastic, rubber, and decals, the only types of plastic this is safe for is the 'shiny/glossy' painted plastic parts.
Vinyl and Decals are usually 95% of the time okay, but for some weird reason, we did have one customer who had problems using the Liquid Wax on their matte black decals (it left a horrible residue on them).
Even though this was our first instance hearing about this problem (even through our own testing), ever since then, we just recommend to completely avoid them.
Of course if you wanted to, you can try on a small area first, before doing the whole vehicle. As mentioned, this has only happened once so far, and we really haven't figured out why it happened to this particular customer.
Hybrid Wax on the other hand, is totally safe to use on every surface, including plastic rubber and decals/vinyl wrap. It can be used on anything from glass, paint, metals, plastics, fiberglass, and more. There are no limits with this product, we've even had customers use this in their homes, on their granite counter tops, stove, shower doors and stainless steel appliances!
