No, we don't recommend it for that purpose. You are better off using a waterless-wash or a detail spray type product as they provide better lubrication and will avoid scratches on your paint from wiping dirt across the surface.
Of course, if you have heavier soils such as bird guts, bird poop, or tree sap, this would work excellent for that purpose.
