Both products contain durable UV protection, both will dry to the touch, and both will work to restore plastic, rubber and vinyl.
Having said that, our Plastic Restorer will provide much better UV protection, will restore better, and will last much longer when used to restore plastic, rubber and vinyl.
The Tire Shine has a much higher gloss factor which is why it is mainly used for tires.
